Jamie Cole guides U.S. Energy Foundation’s strategies to build public support for clean energy and climate policies in the Southeast. Working in the region and in close partnership with campaign experts in both U.S. Energy Foundation’s San Francisco office and other regional offices, she designs and funds strategies that create the diverse coalitions and collaborations needed to meet the ambitious state policy goals in the power, buildings, transportation, and climate sectors.
Previously, Jamie served as Policy Manager, Environmental Justice, Air Quality, and Materials for the North Carolina Conservation Network, where she coordinated and supported coalitions and working groups to advance short- and long-term campaign goals on a wide range of environmental and climate issues and bridged the gap between decision-makers and under-served and under-represented communities, among other duties. Prior to that, she was Public Policy and Legal Redress Coordinator for the North Carolina NAACP, where she also served as interim executive director.
