J.R. oversees the development and execution of strategies to advance equitable clean energy and climate action in the power sector. As Senior Director, Power, he partners with EF staff, consultants, and funding partners to develop shared strategies for clean power areas inclusive of EF’s Fossil Fuels and Clean Grid program strategies.

Prior to EF, J.R. oversaw philanthropic fundraising and led policy development and engagement as Vice President, Strategy and Partnerships at Advanced Energy United. He previously served as the Executive Director for the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators, a bipartisan network committed to climate action and environmental protection.
