Amar leads the development, promotion, and execution of funder-focused communications strategies in alignment with organizational mission and strategies. He works across teams to ensure narratives, messages, and communications assets exemplify U.S. Energy Foundation’s values and those of the climate and clean energy field at large. In addition to working with the Strategic Partnerships team, Amar collaborates with program colleagues to enhance their communications capabilities in support of fundraising efforts and also contributes to organization-wide initiatives to improve systems, processes, and collaboration. Before joining the Strategic Partnerships team, he served as Program Director, Northeast Communications.
Prior to joining U.S. Energy Foundation, Amar was a Senior Digital Director at Spake Media House, where he led and collaborated with a team of digital strategists, marketers, and communicators to build digital communities and brands to inspire action for mission-driven clients. He also developed, managed, and implemented strategies on climate, clean energy, environmental justice, and more. Amar also has worked as a digital strategy and marketing consultant, and in various media and marketing management roles.
