Brendan collaboratively develops the strategy and supports the execution of the Local Power Program’s state-level efforts, including internal and external stakeholder engagement and alignment, grantmaking, contract administration and management, campaign and project development, developing material for proposals, reports, and other written materials, tracking, and evaluation.
Brendan has spent almost 20 years working in advocacy, government, and political campaigns. Most recently, he served as the Ohio State Director for U.S. Energy Foundation, where he led a coalition of clean energy organizations to achieve strategic planning, policy, political, infrastructure deployment, and fundraising goals and built relationships and coordinated with a range of state and national partners. Prior to that, Brendan entered climate and clean energy advocacy to lead a comprehensive program to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in Ohio.
