Heather stewards current institutional funding partners by maintaining a dedicated portfolio of funders and programs, while also building upon the larger pipeline of prospective donors. She creates bespoke strategic funder engagement plans and engages directly with funders to cultivate and sustain philanthropic support for U.S. Energy Foundation’s mission.

Prior to joining U.S. Energy Foundation, she was the Donor Relations Director with MoveOn.org, where she strategically grew the organization’s major donor, foundation, and planned giving programs, and served as the lead on foundation relations and grants. She also served as the Communications Director with Climate Resolve.
