Nick Panlibuton

Program Lead, Local Power

Nick advances the work of the Local Power Program through grantmaking, contract administration, budgeting, strategy development, project management, coordination, collaboration, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Focused on empowering communities, he collaborates with colleagues at EF to support the planning, siting, and deployment of large-scale clean energy projects at the local level. By championing local leadership and ensuring that communities directly benefit from these initiatives, Nick helps drive the transition to clean energy solutions that are both equitable and community-driven. He also leads designated grantee and funder networks to achieve these ambitious goals.

Most recently, Nick served as a Regional Campaigns Manager at the Climate Action Campaign, where he led and managed state-based coalitions for bold climate action and supported on-the-ground partners through strategies and trainings. Previously, Nick worked as an organizer on various political campaigns, working to mobilize voters.
