Thomas McClure leads on designing and managing strategies that enable us to meet our climate and clean energy goals. He works closely with Strategic Partnerships to inform and support funding partners with advice and provides guidance to EF’s regional teams with best practices in the field.

Previously, Thomas spent many years at Everytown for Gun Safety, the nation’s largest gun violence prevention organization, where he served as the chief of staff. During his time as a senior leader at Everytown, the organization grew to include over 10 million supporters, hundreds of thousands of active volunteers, and a robust program in all 50 states. Prior to Everytown, Thomas worked on electoral campaigns—ranging from presidential down to county executive—in Michigan, Missouri, and California.
